The most common misconception is that a single session will stop you from gaining weight again. There’s a limit to how much fat one session can reduce, so at most it refines a contour.
The first session can feel like a big change, but that’s because a lot of swelling (fluid retention) goes down.
Fluid retention depends on circulation. Exercising the area, correcting your posture, stretching and massage can help the change last longer, but if fluid builds up again, the area can partly go back to how it was.
