What’s the difference between the EVA device and Lipokit for processing fat?

When harvested fat is spun in a centrifuge, it separates into blood, pure fat and a layer of oil. Only the pure fat is transferred, so how cleanly the oil layer is separated out matters a great deal.
When fat is centrifuged in ordinary syringes, the oil layer floats to the top. Removing it by hand, by tilting the syringe and wiping the oil away with gauze, is cumbersome. It also exposes the fat to air, which raises the risk of infection, and some oil can be left behind.
With Lipokit, the design of its dedicated container lets the oil layer separate to the top on its own during centrifugation. The fat to be transferred isn’t exposed to air, and the oil is removed well, so the fat is processed to a higher purity.
