FAQ

Can I have Renuvion on its own?

Dr. Oh’s answer

Dr. Oh Hae Seok, Medical Director

If you don’t have much fat and only the skin is loose, Renuvion can be done on its own, heating under the skin through one small entry point for the handpiece. If there’s fat too, combining it with liposuction tends to give a better result.

If the fat layer is thick, the area can still look saggy because of the fat underneath, even after the skin is tightened. So where there’s fat, we first remove it with liposuction, then continue with Renuvion through the same entry points.

If you’ve already had liposuction, or you’ve lost a lot of weight and mainly loose skin remains, Renuvion can be done on its own. The entry point is kept just big enough for the handpiece, and it’s protected and stitched with the SCAR OFF method.

Which option suits you is decided at your examination, based on both the thickness of the fat and how loose the skin is.
