Is it normal for the area to feel hard after Renuvion?

Yes, it’s a common reaction. As the heated tissue contracts and heals, the area may feel firm or itchy for a few weeks to a few months, and it softens over time.
Under the treated area, new collagen forms as the contracted fibrous tissue heals. During this process, the area may feel firm or lumpy to the touch. If you also had liposuction, it can feel even firmer because it overlaps with the swelling from liposuction.
At your follow-up visits (at 1, 2 and 3 months), we check how firm the area is.
In these cases, don’t wait; contact us right away:
· One side suddenly swells and becomes painful
· The area feels like it’s filled with fluid and moves when you press it
· You have a fever, or the skin is red and hot
